The Department’s improved teaching facilities and resources were recently acknowledged in the form of a receipt of an Oxford University Teaching Award, as part of a scheme administered by the Oxford Learning Institute. Established last year, the scheme recognises (amongst other things) ‘the development of effective learning materials, of facilities that improve teaching, and many other aspects of teaching and the support of learning’. The money will be used to further enhance the services and assets already established.
